Character Dance Shoes
Have you ever wondered why they are called character dance shoes? Well, it come from the actors and actresses in performing in theatre which was ’’in character’’
Have you just started to dance ballroom or latin and you’re not sure if you are going to like it?Well, character shoes may be what you need. They are classic and timeless. But most of all inexpensive for the standard model.
If you are a more experienced dancer, you may like them better because they hold your feet really well. All feet are different. Some may need more support other may feel too tight.
They are however really strong and they do last longer then the show stoppers ballroom or latin shoes. It depends on what you are looking for. I think it’s a question of personal taste.
My First Competition
My first competition was with black character shoes. I didn’t win, not because of the dance shoes of course, but of inexperience. At least the shoes looked good with my costume.(lol) In the context of a show, character shoes look more discreet and subtle if you want the emphasis to be on the choreagraphy and the costume. If it goes well with what you’re doing...go for it! The standard models are a bargain. But it doesn’t end to these 2 models. Character dancing shoes has come a long way. Don't forget to check out the DISCOUNTS AND SPECIALS section to see what bargain is available this week.
