Gaynor Minden pointe shoes are unique in every way. They have an extra layer of cushion built in that is not offered in any other shoe. Sizing is also completely different from traditional pointe shoes. Gaynor Mindens allow you to choose your length,width, box size (2-narrow, 3-average, 4-wide) your vamp length, heel height, and also different shanks ranging from pianissimo to hard. Sounds confusing, but not to us. We have been fitting these shoes for years in our retail stores. Gaynor Minden suggests that their shoes be fit personally and properly. We could not agree more. However, in today's era, dancers want the opportunity to purchase their shoes online. While we don't advise buying your first pair of Gaynors online, we are available by phone to help you with the fitting and shank selection. Options are nearly limitless, therefore it is impossible for us to keep every shoe in stock. Not every option is available in every size. However, we do maintain an inventory of the extra-flex shank, which is the most popular. We are located near Gaynor's headquarters and are therefore able to get special orders fairly quickly. If we do not have your particular shoe in stock, we will always do our best to get it for you as quickly as possible.

Bloch Synergy 3/4 Shank Pointe Shoe - S0101L

The Synergy is constructed on the Y-last, which has been developed for more advanced dancers. The Y-last is wider around the metatarsal and joints to accommodate bunions. The box is constructed with a special pasting method designed to shape itself to the dancer's foot and promotes fast and easy break-in, reducing noise on the floor. The box also has a very solid toe for support and longevity. Color is European Pink.

Freed Studio Pointe Shoe - FRSTUDIO

This hand-sewn pointe shoe is designed for a foot that is more tapered at the toe and with a higher arch. It is appropriate for a student though professional level. It comes with ribbon and a mesh pointe shoe bag, Available in standard or hard shank. Color is European Pink.

Sansha Legende Pointe Shoes - SAN909

Sansha's Legende pointe shoe features a medium 3/4 shank for a great arch and easy releve through demi pointe. This shoe is recommended for the advanced dancer and tends to run narrow. Not available in half sizes. Color is European Pink.
